Our Story

We’re on a mission to help families take control of their memories.

A couple of years ago my wife and I realized that we were taking more pictures but enjoying them less. Our best memories were buried in piles of digital junk on our devices and online. Worse yet, many of our most important memories were stuck in our heads because we didn’t have a good place to write them down.

Then we added a couple of kids to the mix.

Our piles of digital photos and videos exploded and we found that early childhood milestones and other memories of the kids growing up were getting blurred and forgotten. We needed a solution. We searched long and hard but no service felt like a true partner in building a rich, beautiful treasure trove of memories. No service put us in control of where our stories were saved and who they were shared with. It was time to get to work.

We created the Arkiver App and later added Arkiver Curation Services for families looking for personalized help with managing their memories.

Why the name Arkiver? Well, we feel a little like Noah building his Ark, except that instead of saving animals from a flood, we help families preserve their most precious memories from a digital deluge.

We look forward to helping your family!
